Landscape takes charge of the client's data: information held by individual salespersons and other departments, various forms of customer data such as billing systems, and data on prospective buyers. Data accepted in various formats, including Excel, Zaurus, PIM, hard copy, record slips, and magnetic tape for mainframe computers.

Integrated data is then stored on a dedicated server with full security features partitioned by the client. A fingerprint identification system ensures only authorized personnel can enter and exit the room where the server is located.

Data is sifted through and refined. Including purging duplicate data, call checking, phonebook verification, collation of nondeliveries, matching of master address data, confirming validity of e-mail, etc. Additional enhancement of attributes is also possible. Data is supplemented and updated on a daily basis (or predetermined period).

Passwords and access records, in combination with a powerful firewall, ensure maximum security. Activities of individual salespersons and progress of colleagues and subordinates can be monitored as well.

<Searching, Extracting and Outputting Data>
Client can input inquiries, marketing records and other information on a daily basis via a browser. Also possible to search the database according to a set of conditions and download the extracted data. Landscape can at the same time be instructed to print out the information on tac labels for direct mailing purposes. Or, just a single stroke of a button to send a fax or e-mail from any terminal at the client`s site or remotely when sales staff are on the road. A detailed record of everything remains making maintaining a relationship with the customer that much easier.
