| Ecology clerical work space |
1. Recycling of used envelopes.
2. Abolishing the use of paper cups and requiring all employees
to use their own mugs and providing ceramic cups for visitors and guests.
3. Abolishing the use of the hypocritical business card that states it is manufactured using recycled paper.
It is much more resource efficient to print out new business card as many as
needed on 100% pure papers by card-printer than
printing on recycled paper with 100 cards at one
time and become obsolete and dumped eventually.
4.Segregating all trash into these categories for collection.
(1) magazine and news papers
(2) combustible paper garbage
(3) noncombustible paper garbage
(4) waste raw garbage
(5) cans
(6) bottles
(7) pet bottle
(8) small complex paper garbage
(9) combustible but confidential paper garbage
(to be cut in pieces by shredder regrettably)
5. Managing air-conditioning and lighting by time zone.
6. Designing office space for flexibility and standardizing allocations and assignments, specifications, components, features, and furniture.
7. Reducing the waste by exchanging or remodeling
parts of PC CPU etc.
8. Recycling old PC's and OA equipments by transferring
to employees or workers at home who could make good
use of them. |

| Approach by business |
1. Reducing number of tuck seal type labels and replacing them with the Cheshire type labels.
2. Work exceptionally hard to reduce undeliverable mail and resulting wasted paper - special note: this is one of Landscape's key missions - correcting addresses in its
customers' databases by using its data hygiene services and continually updating and
correcting its own IDB-based consumer and business addresses. |
