Landscape implements the following security measures for data operations and management.
Physical Security
(1) Automatic IC card lock is necessary for entering the building or office.
(2) Fingerprint identification locks are installed for access to the server room.
(3) Dedicated servers for heavy users can be installed upon request.
Data Security
(1) Data Encryption

  1. Self-developed encryption processing for Oracle databases can be carried-out.
  2. Encryption processing, with software such as ArcaClavis, for extracted data (text, Excel, etc.) is possible. Landscape will correspond upon client's request, for which a client will be requested to purchase the same software for local installation.
  3. In terms of data transmission via a dedicated line, FTP, and the like, SSL encryption processing is possible.
  4. Landscape executes encryption by the industry standard PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) in terms of e-mail interactions.

(2) Measures against intrusion and outside attacks

  1. Firewall installed.
  2. Limited IP addresses have rights to access to the database servers.
  3. Virus detection software installed and constantly in operation on all servers.

(3) Internal Security

  1. Information System Department staff use separate LAN lines from the rest of the employees.
  2. Landscape access rights holders disclosed.
  3. Disclose access log information if necessary.
  4. Backup systems in place, such as external data center , etc.
Human Security
(1) Signed contract, background checks, ID cards, etc. are applied for temporary and part-time workers as well all full-time staff.
(2) The following important elements are included as part of part of efforts to maintain an effective human security environment; (A) Landscape provides a well defined and communicated security rationale and regulations, (B) Landscape provides a satisfying work environment that includes fair treatment, and (C) Landscape maintains constant communication with the entire employee population.
